FOUND: Shoes Under $20 (2024)

Need a new pair of shoes, but don't have a lot to spend on them?
We've all been there.

That's why I wanted to write a series of articles on where to find shoes for less.

I decided to break the articles out by style, like Sandals under $20; Boots for Less, etc., as well as by different, popular price points, and see what I could find.

Though I chose to start with stores that sell a decent amount of shoes for under $20, some of the stores on this list even have a variety of styles for less than $10 per pair.

Keep reading for a few of my favorite shoe stores and online shoe stores that sell inexpensive shoes for women, men and kids.

6pm.com: Brand Name Shoes at Deep Discounts

I knew when iI started writing this article that I'd be mentioning 6pm.com, as it's one of my favorite sites for finding really affordable brand-name shoes.

What I didn't know was how many shoes I'd find that were actually less than $20 per pair.

For the curious, at the time this article was written, 6pm.com was home to nearly 1000 styles of women's shoes, 150 styles of men's shoes, and more than 500 styles of kids' shoes that were under $20.

If I went up to $25, the numbers nearly doubled.

But, as I mentioned, what's especially notable about these prices is that most of these styles are from big brand names that have been discounted.

Another great thing to know is that 6pm.com's sales change every day, so there's a chance that, even if the shoes you want are out of your price range now, a bit of diligence on your part might turn up a better price down the road.

Of course, that knife cuts both ways: when you find a pair you do want, and the price is right, don't hesitate -- shoes on this site sell out very quickly. (Buy Direct)

GoJane.com: Trendy Women's Shoes

GoJane.com doesn't just sell women's shoes -- they also sell women's apparel and loads of fun accessories.

But, if it's cheap, stylish shoes you're looking for, then you should definitely give this site a look, as they have tons of cute heels, flats, sandals, boots and booties, nearly all of which are less than $40, and a good percentage of which are actually under $20.

Another great thing about the shoes on offer at GoJane.com is that they're very on-trend, so you'll find plenty of the season's top styles, for a fraction of the price of many national and mainstream brands. (Buy Direct)

ShiekhShoes.com: Inexpensive Shoes Online & in Stores

Though there are several Shiekh Shoes retail stores in the southwest and on the west coast, their website somehow flew under my radar until very recently. As a stellar source for affordable shoes, I'm extremely glad I found them.

ShiekhShoes.com offers footwear for women, men and kids, and they have hundreds of styles of sandals, boots, sneakers, shoes, (both heels and flats) for less than $20 per pair -- in fact, many of those styles that are actually under $10 per pair.

Most of the really low-priced styles bear the store name on their label, but they're very stylish. This site does also carry brand name shoes including styles from Steve Madden, Sanuk, Zoo York, Skechers and more. (Buy Direct)

ShoeMetro.com: Good Deals on Brand Names

ShoeMetro.com is a great source for finding good deals on kids', men's, and women's shoes, boots, sandals, and sneakers.

In additon to a low-price guarantee and low-cost shipping, you'll find great prices on a wide variety of brand name other shoes.

I ran a search to see how many pairs of shoes I could come up with for between $10 and $20, and here were the results: women's: 725 styles, men's 65 styles, and 144 styles in kids' shoes. Among these results, brands that caught my eye included: Nike, Blowfish,, Baretraps, Keds, Rocket Dog, BCBGirls, Aerosoles, Sanuk, Triple 5 Soul, Born and Skechers, to name just a few.

As a general rule, there is a very limited number of size options for each style, so it's really helpful to sort your results by price and size.

Trust me on this, I've been disappointed too many times by clicking through to find that the shoes I want aren't available in my size. (Buy Direct)

Payless.com: A Leader in Affordable Footwear

I'm sure that those of you who are already used to bargain-hunting won't be surprised to find Payless.com on this list.

Girls, boys, men and women will find lots of affordable styles in boots, sandals, sneakers, and shoes, and what's more, Payless has made huge strides in offering trendy styles for less available to the masses.

For example, Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, Isabel Toledo, and Silvia Tcherassi all have lines available through Payless, and while most of those styles cost more than $20 per pair, they're still a fraction of what you'd expect to pay. (Buy Direct)

Hidden Gems: Other Places to Find Shoes Under $20

When you're looking for affordable shoes, don't forget to check your favorite apparel stores and catalogs. Stores like Forever 21, Old Navy, and Hot Topic are fantastic sources for inexpensive women's shoes.

And in some cases, such as with Old Navy's flip flops, the products aren't only affordable (I've seen them for less than $2 per pair), they're also much-loved.
