Nordic Valley is a small ski resort in the heart of Utah, surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains. The resort is one of the most accessible, family and budget-friendly resorts in Utah.

Nordic Valley Ski Resort Lift Tickets

Nordic Valley Ski Resort has several lift pass options including day lift tickets and season passes. Below is a breakdown of the lift passes and the key differences between the passes.

Full Day or Night Lift Ticket

Below is the difference between the Nordic Valley Ski Resort full-day and night lift tickets.

  • Full-day tickets: This ticket gives you access to the mountain all day plus night skiing.
  • Night lift ticket: 80% of the mountain is lit up at night and this ticket gives you access to night skiing. It is available on Monday to Wednesday from 3 pm-7 pm, Thursday to Saturday from 3 pm-8 pm, and during holiday periods from 3 pm-9 pm.

Season Pass

The Power Pass comes with 3 different pass choices and different restrictions: Power Pass Core, Power Pass Select, and Power Pass. The pass price for adults (37-64) ranges from $399 - $949.

  • Power Pass Core: This pass gives you access to unlimited skiing at Nordic Valley, Willamette Pass, Hesperus, Sipapu, and Pajarito throughout the ski season except blackout dates. The Pass also includes 4 total restricted days at Purgatory, Snowbowl, Brian Head Resort, Lee Canyon, and Spider Mountain Bike Park.
  • Power Pass Select: This gives you unlimited access to 6 resorts throughout the ski season and 12 share days with holiday blackout dates at Purgatory, Snowbowl, and Lee Canyon.
  • Power Pass: This pass gets you unlimited skiing at Nordic Valley, Brian Head, Lee Canyon, Purgatory, Hesperus, Snowbowl, Sipapu, Pajarito, and Willamette Pass.

Other season pass includes My Weekday Pass and Parent Share Pass.

  • My Weekday Pass offers unlimited access on Mondays to Fridays at Nordic Valley Ski Resort throughout the ski season, except on blackout dates.
  • Parent Share Pass is available for parents with kids ages 3 and younger to share one pass.

Kids 12 and under ski for free. Get the free Power Kids Pass to ski unlimited at Nordic Valley Ski Resort and the other 9 Power Mountains. Seniors aged over 75 can also get a Super Senior Pass for free.

Nordic Valley Ski and Snowboard Lessons

Nordic Valley Ski and Snowboard School offers group and private lessons as well as longer learning programs for all ability levels.

  • Group Lesson: This is a 2 or 4-hour group lesson for children ages 8-17 or a 2-hour lesson for adults 18 and above for all ability levels.
  • Private Lesson: This is a full-day or half-day one-on-one private lesson or group lesson with friends or families. It is suitable for beginners and intermediate-level ages 4 and above. For private lessons booking, please email skischool@nordicvalley.ski or call (385) 298-0151.
  • After School/Work Program: This is a consecutive 4-week program 2-hour lesson for skiers ages 5 and above and snowboarders ages 8 and above. The program is available as a standalone or as a package with rental equipment. The resort also introduced a new 8-week program for beginner and intermediate groups ages 8-16.

Nearest Town to Nordic Valley Ski Resort

The nearest town to Nordic Valley Ski Resort is Eden, Utah, which is located in the Upper Ogden Valley about 3.8 miles from the resort. Its close proximity to the resort, along with a range of accommodation options and restaurants, make it a popular choice for skiers and boarders during the winter season. Additionally, it is within easy reach of other popular ski resorts, including Snowbasin and Powder Mountain, which are just short drives away.

Restaurants

Nordic Valley Ski Resort is a smaller ski area compared to some other resorts and has limited dining facilities in the Day Lodge. There are more restaurants option in the town of Eden.

Located around 2.9 miles from the resort at upper Ogden Valley. The restaurants offer homemade bread, pizza, pasta, desserts and more.
