Yes.

You will not be able to visit your family member or friend for the first three days they are incarcerated, possibly longer depending on their circ*mstances.

All visits are by remote video. Remote visits are conducted by using any desktop computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet. You will need one of the following to complete your visit: a hardware connection, a strong Wi-Fi connection, or a strong cellular data connection. Your family or friend will join the visit from the visiting area inside their respective housing unit. Jail visits are no longer scheduled by the jail visiting staff. All visits are handled through Securus.

Securus is an outside company that facilitates visitation for many correctional institutions in the U.S.

Visitors will need to set up an account with Securus in order to schedule a visit.

This can be done by going online to the Securus website securustech.net.

You will need a state issued driver’s license or ID, as well as a current photo to complete the registration.

Current photo must be clear, without sunglasses, and no photos with animations.

Users (Visitors) can take up to 24 hours to be approved and up to 72 hours if it's a weekend. Users are approved every Monday through Friday.

Once a visitor is registered on Securus, and the inmate is eligible for visits. They can schedule a visit with an inmate by following the prompts on the website. After a visit is scheduled, the visitor will receive a message on the website after the visit has been confirmed.

All visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance of the visit. The system will only display the visitation times which are available 24 hours in advance. You may also call the Securus customer service number toll free at 1-877-578-3658 for help.

Remote visits can be scheduled from 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

Visiting exceptions by Housing Area:

Canyons 1: Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

Canyons 3 and Vail 3: Call the visiting deputy or speak to your family member or friend to find out their visiting times.

Currently, the only option is remote video visits. These visits are done using the visitor's computer or mobile device. There will be a charge of $5.00 plus taxes up to $5.95 per 25-minute visit.

Remote visits are available 7 days a week and holidays, 9:00 am - 10:30 am, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

The person who is listed on the securus account must be present.

Use of someone else's account to visit a person you are prohibited from visiting, due to having a current protective order, having been incarcerated in the past two years, having a suspension due to a dress code violation, or other violation visiting rules; will result in immediate termination of the account.

Visitors age 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a family member 21 years of age or older, unless the visitor is a spouse.

A spouse under the age of 18 must show a marriage license and photo identification to be admitted for a visit.

The Utah County Jail has a dress code requiring visitors to dress modestly, for both jail and online visits.

Short shorts, mini-skirts, low cut blouses or low cut or sagging pants, bare midriffs, tube tops, spaghetti straps, etc. are not allowed.

Attorneys may visit from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm daily. Attorneys may visit on Saturday and Sunday in booking during the times listed above.

Clergy may visit from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, 1:00 pm - 4:00, and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday. Clergy may visit on Saturday in booking during the times listed above. Attorneys and Clergy must bring documentation identifying their position. Attorneys may use the attorney visitation rooms in the visiting lobby. Clergy will be allowed free visits on the on-site video monitors, however, it will be necessary to be cleared by visiting staff.

Attorneys and Clergy are welcome to use the remote online visiting from outside computers and mobile devices, however, the $5.00 plus taxes up to $5.95 per 25 - minute visit will apply.

All visits will be monitored. Inappropriate behavior from either party is prohibited and may result in termination of the visit and a loss of future visiting privileges. The deputy monitoring the visit decides what is inappropriate based on the dress code. A dress code violation will result in immediate termination of the visit. Nudity of any type, even between spouses, is inappropriate.

The first violation will result in a two-week suspension of visitation privileges. The second violation will result in suspension of visiting privileges for the remainder of an inmate's sentence.

Visitors who have been booked into the Utah County Jail within the last 2 years are not allowed to visit, this includes being booked in on a summons. Exceptions can be made and must be approved by the jail administration for immediate family members - spouse (with proof of marriage), father, mother, son, daughter, brother or sister. Anyone on probation or parole may not visit.

Inmates have the right to refuse a visitor and may choose to not confirm your requested visit. In this case, the visit will not be accommodated.
