Cat Petterz is the friendship between Noelle Holiday and Spamton from the Deltarune fandom.

Backstory[]

On her "holidaygirl1225" blog, Noelle confesses to her readers that she habitually reads her spam mail, just in case an email sent by a real person was sorted in by accident. Getting the usual spam nonsense, Noelle is surprised to find a string of code one day, assuming that it's a failed attempt to send her a virus. However, Noelle spontaneously decided to insert it into her favorite game Cat Petterz 2, surprised to find out that it actually loaded.

Instead of the complex animation of multiple shapes forming a body, the pet she received from her spam email was just a blue circle. Said blue circle never moved from its spot, floating in the air and occasionally glitching out. Noelle described how terrible the new "pet's" stats are compared to the others and that the game itself seemed to hate that thing. She was pretty amused by some of her pets responding positively to it, however.

She was pretty baffled to find out that the circle managed to reproduce asexually, unlike most pets needing two different specimen to reproduce. She initially found this funny, but then the circles wouldn't stop multiplying until her game crashed from all the "Congratulations" screens piling up. Noelle was pretty bummed about being forced to erase all of her virtual pets just to continue playing.

She finishes the post by telling herself to never use code from a spam email again.

It is pretty common to give Noelle and Spamton a unique connection, not unlike Spamton's connection to Kris. Many like to believe that Spamton is fond of Noelle because she was the only one who ever bothered to actually read his messages, despite him contributing to her misery in the Weird Route.

It is also common to swap Noelle and Spamton's roles, by having Spamton be a Lightner living in Hometown and Noelle be the corrupted piece of code in Cyber World. "Spamelle" seems to be an extension of the "Salt Route AU" idea, where Spamton already takes Noelle's place in the Weird Route. People seem to like exaggerating that idea by having Noelle actually take Spamton's place as well, depicting her with his color palette, but red and green Dealmaker glasses.

People are generally against the idea of pairing them romantically, as not only is Spamton (designed to be) an adult while Noelle is a teenager, but Noelle is also all but stated to be lesbian.

DANK Squad is the friendship between Dess Holiday, Asriel Dreemurr, Noelle Holiday and Kris from the Deltarune fandom.

The Dreemurrs and Holidays are neighbors in Hometown. Back when they were kids, the four children of the two households were spending a lot of time together. However, they stopped hanging out sometime before Dess disappeared and Asriel went to college. Noelle however tries to keep a friendly relationship with Kris in the present.

• Compared to most other platonic names in the fandom referring to character attributes, fans have decided to name the DANK Squad after their initials: Dess, Asriel, Noelle and Kris.

Quoriel is the femslash ship between Queen and Toriel from the Deltarune fandom.

Canon[]

As of chapter two of Deltarune, Queen and Toriel have yet to interact. However, there is opportunity for them to do so in the future.

The two characters are also very similar in the fact that they are both slightly overbearing helicopter mother figures who accidentally do more harm than good when trying to do what they think is best for the people they are looking after. Both of them enjoy baking, but Queen's pies are most likely inedible.

Queen is as the name indicates, the queen of the Cyber World, Toriel's Undertale counterpart used to be queen of the Underground and could return to the throne in certain endings.

Fanon[]

Quoriel is considered a rarepair in the Deltarune fandom considering the fact that Queen and Toriel have not canonically interacted yet. However, that has not stopped shippers from pairing the two together. It is practically confirmed that Toriel will be in the Chapter 3 Dark World, which will force Toriel to learn that they exist. Once she learns about them, she could possibly follow Kris and Susie into Castle Town and meet Queen there.

Fans often compare the two on the fact that Toriel is basically ancient and most likely not tech savvy, while Queen is literally a personification of the internet. A side effect of Quoriel is typically people making Kris and Lancer be siblings, something which the fandom enjoys, especially if Queen and Toriel decide to adopt Susie as well.

Spamvil is the slash ship between Spamton and Jevil from the Deltarune fandom.

While the two are not seen interacting with each other in the game, it is implied that they know each other. When talking to Spamton in his store, he mentions wanting to surpass "that damned clown around town".

The ship became popular in the Deltarune fandom because they are both secret bosses with strong personalities and they have an interesting dynamic.

Despite not being problematic at all the ship gets hate mostly because it interferes with other popular ships like Seavil and Swatchton.

• In the Spamton Sweepstakes charity event Q&A, when talking about Jevil, Spamton references a divorce meme, leading many fans of the ship to believe they are canonically divorced.

Spamton and Swatch are implied to have met during Spamton's "big shot" era when he was living in Queen's mansion, where Swatch runs the Colour Cafe. During this period, the stranger who helped Spamton rise to power abandoned him, causing his sales to go down. He became obsessed with an artifact in the basem*nt, the machine he eventually uses to become Spamton NEO. If you talk to Swatch about the basem*nt, he reveals that the robot was the embodiment of a lightner's dream that he helped to create, as the representation of a digital art program.

Swatch seems to hold bitterness towards Spamton, referring to him as "that crooked salesman", and remarks that it was a pity, "to think he was once a valued customer". More dialogue reveals that Spamton's iconic pink and yellow glasses and monochrome suit are a failed attempt to impersonate Swatch in order to sneak into the basem*nt and gain access to the NEO robot. Swatch sells Big Shot Bowties in his store, which were originally Spamton's merchandise, but they have the brand name cut off. During the Spamton Sweepstakes Twitter Q&A, Spamton says "TO THINK HE ONCE PRETENDED TO [be my fr13nd NOW]! THERE TO [always listen to a] [shoulder to cry on]. BUT IN THE END HE ONLY [always listen to a] [Smoking Hot @$$ NOW]!!!" In simpler terms, Spamton used to think of Swatch as a good friend, but in the end Swatch was more loyal to Queen. In contrast, Swatch only refers to Spamton as a valued customer, suggesting that these feelings were mostly one sided and that Swatch probably acted that way out of professionalism.

Although Spamton turns into the dealmaker glasses in canon, a popular fanon trope is of Swatch finding Spamton in a dumpster in Castle Town after the events of chapter 2 and deciding to look after him. This usually involves a lot of fluff and slow burn until they admit their feelings for one another. Other fan content portrays their relationship during Spamton's big shot era, usually with Spamton visiting the Colour Cafe a lot because he has a crush on Swatch, despite this not really being canon.
