Recent years have brought a more acute focus on racial inequity across America. And while disparities reported at the national level give sight into thematic trends, the specific ways in which racial inequity manifests itself may be vastly different from one state, city, neighborhood to the next. Investors, companies, philanthropies, and public-sector leaders must consider people and place holistically to develop solutions that can be transformative for Black residents and the trajectory of their communities.
Hosted by The Beta Iota Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc., in partnership with The Executive Leadership Council and McKinsey & Company, Black Economic Forum will once again convene Black corporate executives, philanthropists, scholars, and more to network, ideate and collaborate on efforts to advance Black economic development. This year's event will focus on the place-based solutions to advance Black economic mobility. During the Forum, participants will hear from industry leaders and experts on various topics including the state of Black residents in the U.S., how philanthropies can advance economic mobility and opportunities to transform Black communities and uplift all residents.
