• We came up to this pub, which is very local to us and we'd hoped to come more often now our little one is bigger, for dinner and drinks. (I grew up in the area and my family and friends have come here a lot over the last 30 years) We ordered out drinks and took a seat. Just as my 2 year old was about to drink from the glass, with my assistance, my husband noticed an enormous chip out of the rim of the glass. We took the glass back and the gormlas bar maid offered no apology, was not shocked by my husbands revaluation and simply opened another orange and poured into a new glass. When he came back without a good enough acknowledgement I went to speak with her. I asked her calmly if she understood what my husband has told her, had she heard him correctly? Didn't she understand what could have happened to my daughter? She explained what my husband had told her and so I asked her if she'd like to offer an apology? She didn't. She shrugged her shoulders and said it was her fault, she said she didn't know what to say, what did I want to hear her say!!? Disgusting. What an incompetent idiot, which says nothing for the manager who employed her. Will never return here and will tell everyone I know not to either
